Tasks
We are now looking for a Controlling Business Partner.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide financial business partnering support to the Automotive Wholesale Business as part of the Group Business Controlling organization
- Collaborate closely with business unit leaders and the management teams of subsidiary companies to monitor, analyze, and improve financial and business performance
- Actively participate in monthly business review meetings and management discussions
- Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes, including analyzing financial results and preparing business-focused evaluations and recommendations
- Contribute to the preparation of the annual business plan and regular forecasts, and monitor actual performance against plans
- Identify, analyze, quantify, and monitor variances against plans, business risks, and growth opportunities, and formulate recommendations for management
- Monitor and analyze the financial and operational performance of subsidiary companies, identify the root causes of deviations, and support the implementation of performance improvement initiatives
- Prepare business, profitability, and performance analyses to support management decision-making
- Conduct benchmarking analyses, identify best practices, and support their implementation across the group
- Support efficiency improvement and profitability enhancement initiatives by providing financial analyses, recommendations, and performance monitoring
- Prepare management reports, executive presentations, decision-support materials, and various analyses based on internal and external data
- Actively participate in the continuous development of controlling processes, reporting tools, performance management solutions, and financial systems
- Collaborate with Accounting, Treasury, Tax, and the finance teams of subsidiary companies to ensure effective financial support across the group
- Participate in business unit and group-wide development, digitalization, optimization, and transformation projects
- Support ad hoc financial analyses, management information requests, and other business-related initiatives as required
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in controlling, financial analysis, business analysis, or financial business partnering
- Strong financial and business acumen with the ability to interpret financial results and identify underlying business drivers
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to interact effectively across different organizational levels
- Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate with business leaders as a trusted finance partner
- Proactive, self-driven, and results-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently
- Professional working proficiency in English, both written and spoken
Advantage
- Experience in controlling or financial business partnering within a multi-site or multi-entity organization
- Experience in the automotive, retail, or wholesale industry
- Knowledge of Power BI or other business intelligence (BI) tools
- Previous work experience in an international business environment
