Tasks

We are looking for a Business Performance Manager to lead centrally initiated and subsidiary-related projects across the Group’s retail operations.

This is a highly dynamic role combining project management, business analysis, operational improvement and leadership. You will work closely with subsidiary Managing Directors, the central Retail team and senior Group management, with regular on-site presence across our international network.

 

• Lead complex, international projects from initial assessment through implementation and follow-up.
• Support the integration of newly acquired or established retail subsidiaries.
• Conduct operational and financial audits, identify risks, performance gaps and root causes, and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Lead ad hoc investigations and structured intervention projects when operational or business issues arise.
• Analyse operational and financial data and KPIs to support fact-based decision-making and identify improvement opportunities.
• Where necessary, temporarily take over operational or management responsibilities within a subsidiary or business area.
• Build and coordinate project teams involving internal stakeholders and external experts.
• Manage project plans, milestones, risks, resources and costs.
• Work closely with senior management and act as a key representative of the central Retail organization.
• Manage external consultants and service providers involved in projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance or a related field.
• Several years of relevant professional experience; consulting or senior management experience is a strong advantage.
• Experience in project management, business operations, process improvement or audits.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to work confidently with operational and financial data.
• Excellent problem-solving and systems-level thinking.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including experience working with senior management.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership in complex situations.
• Native Hungarian.
• Fluent English.
• Willingness to travel regularly to subsidiaries across the Group.
