Central functions of Distribution business unit are representing a great variety of activities such like Accounting, Taxation, Treasury, IT, Project Management, New Vehicle Logistics, Homologation, Parts & Accessories management and Human Resources. 

Tasks

• Logistics Operations & Team Coordination
  • Support the Head of Logistics in the daily management of finished vehicle logistics operations
  • Provide professional guidance and support to a team of 8 logistics specialists
  • Coordinate and supervise daily activities, priorities within the logistics team
  • Support the team in solving operational issues and exceptional cases
  • Ensure that agreed logistics processes, standards are consistently followed
  • Act as a key escalation point for operational issues
• Tendering & Performance Management
  • Prepare and coordinate logistics tenders and RFQs
  • Maintain regular professional relationships with LSPs and monitor their operational performance
  • Define, calculate, monitor and evaluate logistics KPIs.
• Budgeting & Cost Management
  • Prepare calculations and analyses supporting the annual logistics budget
  • Support the Head of Logistics in monitoring logistics costs and identifying deviations
  • Prepare ad-hoc cost calculations and business cases when required
• TMS & Master Data Management
  • Maintain and continuously improve logistics-related master data within the company's Transport Management System (TMS)
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency and completeness
• Internal Stakeholder Management
  • Maintain close cooperation with Sales, Finance, Controlling, IT and other internal departments
  • Ensure clear and effective communication between Logistics and internal stakeholders

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in logistics
• Minimum 3 years of leadership or team management experience in a logistics environment
• Fluent / business-level English
• Experience working with logistics service providers and transport companies
• Experience with tendering, RFQs or supplier evaluations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge and daily practical use (advanced formulas/functions, Pivot Tables, data analysis, reporting and performance calculations etc.)
• Strong systems thinking and ability to understand complex end-to-end processes
• Confident communication skills
• Decision-making skills and ability to take responsibility
